The Center for Economic Inclusion offers a groundbreaking suite of racial equity consulting products and services for employers who are ready to compete by maximizing shared value, business results, and regional economic growth.

Through our Employer Inclusivity Consulting Services, we offer clients a comprehensive, sequenced set of actions to develop the awareness, knowledge, and tools needed to identify and replace policies and practices that are producing racially exclusive results today, with new, innovative, triple bottom line, racially inclusive market- responsive approaches.

Our trademarked approach is unique in the field. At the Center, we focus on systemic change: the systems within organizations that must change – shifts in policies and practices, while also equipping leaders to fully maximize personal agency to create cultures of belonging and racial inclusion, that foster and accelerate a path to equity.

We monitor and measure the impact of these changes across over 150 dimensions of employee engagement, household financial security, and economic growth and inclusion to close racial income and wealth gaps, increase business results and expand regional economic growth.

Comprehensive Organizational Analysis

We ground our consulting in a comprehensive internal and market data analysis and optimization. The Center team will begin assessing your ability to maximize inclusivity and equity as market differentiators using our proprietary Racial Equity Dividends Assessment which offers quantitative and qualitative assessment of employee experiences and perceptions of business policies and practices, as well as the social and economic pressures employees are navigating that may be reflected in employer turnover, productivity, and profitability. The report establishes a baseline for establishing goals and measuring progress over time across five facets, and over 150 dimensions and ultimately serves as a guide to inform our action planning and business coaching.

Powering Inclusion Education & Coaching

Today’s leaders must be equipped to create actively inclusive workplaces and customer experiences. This requires becoming anti-racist and taking daily anti-racist actions. After assessing areas of opportunity, the Center will make a formal recommendation for training and education. Our standard suite 2-day leadership training and 3-hour employee training, Powering Inclusion Activator Workshops, and Powering Inclusion Executive and Leadership Coaching.

Strategy Design

We partner with leaders to design strategies, recommend goals and facilitate the development of tools (Toolkit for Action) for connecting data to action to equip leaders with the knowledge, skills and networks needed to take meaningful action across in five areas (pillars): People, Procurement, Policy, Philanthropy, and Products and Marketplace.

Customized Consulting

Our team of principals, consultants, and specialists will offer customized consulting to support your business in addressing tailored solutions in talent, procurement, policy, philanthropy, and products. We will guide the goal setting and benchmarking process, internal capacity and change management processes, development and training, integration and systems development.  Furthermore, we will ensure that systems for evaluation and long-term sustainability are institutionalized.

Talent & Supplier Referrals

We offer relevant and responsive referrals for racially diverse talent, suppliers, and other strategic sourcing needs relevant to the plan, and support our clients in the successful placement, contracting, and assessment of inclusion and equity barriers and mitigation.
